Please read the following section carefully and confirm by ticking the relevant box that you agree to the terms and conditions of the bursary application.

 

1. You must be an active coach

2. The bursary will need to be validated by your National Governing Body or County Sports Partnership

3. If you are already registered on a course through the bursary scheme you cannot transfer from one bursary to another, however you are able to apply for different levels of your coaching qualification e.g. Level 1 and Level 2

4. Non completion of the course will result in you being required to refund the bursary

5. Bursaries are not unlimited therefore applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis and are subject to

a) a bursary being available for your sport in your region

b) demand for the bursary

c) the qualification you are applying for

6. You must have enrolled and started your course before the 31 March 2009

In addition you must agree to the following terms and conditions

I will receive a bursary for up to 66% of the cost of the course and will enrol before the 31 March 2009

I will deliver a minimum of 20 hours coaching upon completion of my coaching qualification

I am happy for the National Skills Academy to hold my records and be kept informed of the opportunities for bursaries and other funding to support sport and active leisure.
