Are you eligible?
You must be an active coach .
You will need to enrol on a course before the 31
March 2009 - and have started. Please note, that the definition of a course start will be
subject to the sport, and could include induction papers, learning
questionnaires or a face to face meeting with your National
Governing Body or County Sports Partnership.
Who
can apply?
1. NEW APPLICANTS : Active coaches who wish to enrol on a
coaching course by the 31 March 2009
2. REBATE : Those coaches who have
undertaken a course from the 1 Jan 2009 up to the 31 March
2009, can apply for a rebate of up to 66% of the course
costs.
How to complete your bursary
application:
You will be asked to complete an online
application form, which is a simple step by step process. You will be asked for information on your coaching
qualifications and where you practice your coaching, therefore
please have with you as much information as possible. The following sections are those that you
are required to complete:

Personal Details: Please
complete the information in full. All fields are
mandatory.

Section 2: Course Details: Please
complete your current qualifications and the qualification
you wish to complete.
Please note, you will be
required to validate the course with your National Governing Body or
County Sports Partnership.

Coaching Activity:
To ensure you receive the most from our coaching support,
we need to know a little about you and your coaching
activity.
Please complete all information. This data will help
us to continue to negotiate with funders to support more
initiatives and particularly bursaries.

4:
Validation: In
this section you will need to provide details of the
individual / club who is confirming that you are attending
the course
How
will I receive the funds:
You will be issued with the funds via BACS
payment - if you have supplied your bank details or by
cheque. The bursary will be issued
on ENROLMENT
of the course, and
you will be required to complete an evaluation.
