With hundreds of training providers and hundreds of qualifications and courses in our sector, when searching for training it is both time consuming and difficult to find what is most suitable for your needs.

The National Skills Academy has been established with the principle of improving the quality of training within the sport and active leisure sector. Our role is to help you to find the best provider, delivering the most appropriate and highest quality training based on your needs.

Quality assurance

Those taking training through our approved providers can be assured they are accessing the best quality available. All providers go through a stringent and independent quality assurance process based on

• Employer engagement: How do they support you as a business, is the provision right for the sector, how do they demonstrate support to you as an employer
• Quality: Review of the current delivery, including an assessment of the quality standards in place ranging from Ofsted scores, through to training quality standards and awarding body reports
• Resources: They have the capacity to deliver to one or more of your sites, including the flexibility to run courses when you need them both onsite and offsite
