Safeguarding Training courses

Safeguarding training is available at a range of different levels, aimed at those with various roles and responsibilities in safeguarding children. The Child Protection in Sport Unit offers guidance on which level of training could work best for you.

Awareness raising training – discounts available!
The Skills Academy has partnered with EduCare to offer their online NSPCC Child Protection Awareness training at discounted prices.

Basic safeguarding training
More detailed workshops are offered by a number of the Skills Academy’s approved training providers, including Coachwise and Fit for Sport.

Specialist safeguarding training
Specialist training aimed at your specific needs, including those working in diverse outdoor settings, is available from the Skills Academy’s approved training provider Aquila Alternatives.
