The National Skills Academy are now running a mentoring programme to support the development of coaches in the North West who are currently working through, or have recently undertaken, coaching qualifications.

Working with all of the County Sports Partnerships in the North West, this programme will offer coaches the chance to have a 1-to-1 session with an identified mentor to discuss their goals and ambitions.

The support offered to the coaches through the programme includes:

• One 1-to-1 session with a Qualified Mentor
• Support and Guidance while working on your coaching qualifications
• Help with a clearer understanding and enhancement of the wider coaching world
• Development of a personal progress plan
• The opportunity of direct access to resources within the coaching industry
• The chance to engage with local partners such as the County Sports Partnership and your Coach Development Manager
• The ability to gain from the Mentor's experiences in the industry
