The role of a training provider

There are two types of approved provider in out network - Centres of Excellence and Academy Providers.

The role of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) is vital to our provision. We appoint Centres of Excellence in each region to work with employers and industry partners to coordinate and deliver training provision required by organisations within sector.

  • They lead the development and implementation of innovative programmes to meet employer and sector needs
  • They provide training and qualifications (both accredited and non-accredited) to meet the skills needs and training requirements of employers in the local and regional area
  • They lead and contribute to the regional network's continued development

Academy Providers work alongside Centres of Excellence in each regional hub, providing training and qualifications to the sector and its workforce. They are signed up to meet the skills needs and training requirements of employers in the local and regional area.

Contact your regional team or download our Invitation to Tender information to find out more about becoming part of our network.
