Wild River
Wild River is run by Level 5 coach Sean Mc Grath. After years of paddling in a range of places for substantial personal enjoyment but very little financial reward, Sean decided it was time try to feed his family by working for a living. Hence, 4 years ago Wild River was born. We feel that all our courses should be as much fun as our personal paddling but refuse to compromise on quality. We are now one of the main providers of paddlesport courses in the North West but still maintain the intimacy and attention to detail, as well as flexibility, of a small company.
We aim to provide the highest standard coaching in the country by using highly qualified and experienced staff to deliver all our courses, all of which are led by level 5 coaches. All our staff have a passion for paddling and their enthusiasm allows them to pass that passion onto our students.
We run the full range of BCU courses at a range of venues around Cumbria and throughout the UK. Wild River is supported by Palm and Dagger Europe who provide us with the best quality equipment allowing us to help our students perform at their best.
